The free pool party before Christmas was a hit – come and support your local pool

As Rainbow Beach does not run as a council pool – if we don’t use it – we lose it! So take the kids or join an aerobics class and get wet! Even better, book your family into learn-how-to-swim classes. Thanks to BJ Parton and family, these are coming up in January:

Kids Team Building Program

Think teamwork, life skills like basic first aid responses, water rescues and problem solving. Even a sand blow team scavenger hunt. On January 2, 3 and 4 at 3-7pm.

Freestyle and Breaststroke Skills Workshop

You’ll be provided with instruction, training challenges and learn competitive stroke skills. You must be able to swim 50m of each stroke to attend. On January 6,7 and 8 at 7.30-9am.

Little Kickers

Build up strength and conditioning for distance and ocean swimming whilst working on stroke development and technique. On 4pm Tuesdays and 9.30am Saturdays.

Friday and Saturday Pool Games

Bring the kids for an active afternoon of fun, 3-5pm. They must be able to swim.

BJ is hoping to secure some funding so the service can continue for the community. Help her out by dropping in or emailing a letter of support she can add to the grant: breakpointservices1@gmail.com
