Defence has used the findings of the investigation to develop a PFAS Management Area Plan. This plan informs the activities Defence will undertake to manage, monitor and reduce the risks of PFAS exposure on, and around, the Base.
The key conclusions of the investigation with respect to the primary objectives on the environmental investigation into per- and poly- fluoroalkyl substances (PFAS), on and around the Wide Bay Training Area are included in the update.
