Cooloola Cove plans ahead

Cooloola Cove Residents and Friends Inc. are happily reporting that last month our long-awaited meeting with GRC took place. By now our members are up to date with the outcomes and are moving forward with our gained knowledge on the list of concerns we aired.
On behalf of the Management Committee and myself, I would like to thank GRC representatives Pauline Gorton, Dimitri Scordalides, Lynn Blandford and Cr. Mark McDonald for such a positive and productive meeting, with no questions and answers off limits. Thanks to you all.
The petition for the medical facility is in full swing and will hopefully surpass what is required.
We have again this year donated to support our local P10 state school and we are asking that the award be presented to a child who has put in extra effort to achieve a great result for their ability.
Plans for the ‘Cooloola Cove Community Christmas and Carols’, family afternoon for December 8 is starting to come together and we trust you will bring your children and yourselves along to ‘the Vets’ Hall’ for games, craft, food and drinks, culminating with Christmas carols at 6.30pm.
