A modern office adds to the Main Street
Cooloola Coast Realty team, Dee White, Katie Winzar, Kim McIlroy and Christine Druitt are enjoying their brand new office in the middle of town
As Cooloola Coast Realty clients return for a holiday, they will be impressed with the new office a few doors down at 8 Rainbow Beach Road.
“When we bought Cooloola Coast Realty in 2009, the next logical step was to purchase our own freehold commercial property to house our office,” said owner Dee White. “Since we bought the building; it has undergone a major transformation.”
Dee says the new real estate office design is largely based on years of experience in busy holiday periods, “Our business manages over 100 holiday rentals and during the peak period; it can get hectic in the office.”
The spacious new layout is light and airy, with natural timber dominating, and almost double the size from their previous location – from 45m2 to 80m2!
It includes a main reception desk and secondary reception desk to accommodate more clients, meeting room, storage and a large kitchenette/break-out area for staff.
“We drafted our own floor plan and engaged a company called Design Thought Facility to refine our ideas,” who Dee said were amazing. “We gave them a brief regarding our requirements and discussed our desire to have a coastal, urban feel.”
Local builders, Peter Waldock and his son Dean, did the fit out. “We engaged them last year to construct the roof over the old arcade and they produce high quality work.
Dee says, “The team are stoked to now have a coffee machine and a dishwasher! Overall, we are very happy with the results and we are all enjoying the new space.”
