Shores Golf Club funds disbursed

When the Club was advised that the Shores Golf Course was to be closed, the committee undertook to disburse funds left in the Club’s bank account to charity, if the course did not reopen within 12 months.
As the course has not reopened, it has now been decided to donate to four charities which benefit all members of the community.
After all accounts were paid there was $1,600 remaining. Donations of $400 each have been forwarded to:
- Cooloola Coast Medical Transport
- Little Haven Palliative Care
- The Cancer Council
- The Heart Foundation
All business of the former club is now completed and after the presentation of the above cheques the bank account will be closed.
