School Fishing Day is coming up!

State Of Origin Dress Ups!

State Of Origin Dress Ups!

Rainbow Beach State School Fishing Day is scheduled for Thursday July 16 at Inskip Point – near the sinkhole. Parents are asked to help students fish safely, with transport from school, and to organise fishing equipment for their children. Information has been sent home.

I have seen some excellent work happening across the school this term and it has been great to hear and see students enjoying their work and discussing what they are learning with their friends and families.

Vale Yvonne Mayfield

It is with much sadness that I share with you that our Guidance Officer Yvonne Mayfield passed away suddenly as a result of cardiac arrest. She will be missed.

P&C News

Homes wanted for People to People July 18-20 We need to house 53 people for this two-night homestay.  There are five adults, 29 girls and 19 boys.

Last year was a great P&C fundraiser and gave American students the opportunity to experience life in Rainbow Beach.

The aim of the People to People Student Ambassador Program is to give students a greater understanding of people throughout the world.

Ideally, the homestays give their students the opportunity to interact with a family and learn about local customs and culture, and also provide an opportunity for your friends and neighbours to learn about American students and their families.

Email pandc@rainbowbeachss.edu.eq.au to register your interest.
