Register your Queensland Day event now

COMMUNITY organisations, schools, businesses, sporting groups and families planning Queensland Day activities are invited to register their event on the official Queensland Day calendar ahead of the statewide celebrations on 6 June.

From Bamaga to Birdsville, event organisers can register their events on the Queensland Day calendar for free and gain further exposure within their local community.

Every event registered before Friday 2 June 2017 will be in the running to win one of 10 special Queensland produce hampers.
Event coordinators are also eligible to register for a Queensland Day merchandise pack which contains balloons, bunting, napkins, tote bag, tea towel, stickers, frisbee, temporary tattoos and post-it notes. Stocks are limited so get in quick!

Queensland Day Ambassador, Laura Geitz will be showing her maroon spirit this Queensland Day and is encouraging Queenslander’s state wide to join the celebrations.

“I encourage all Queenslanders to join me in the celebrations this Queensland Day.  Whether you attend one of the many Queensland Day events on offer or host your own event with friends, get out there and wave the maroon flag with pride,” Laura said.

The official Queensland Day calendar assists local community groups showcase their diverse events and connect with Queenslanders planning to attend local celebrations.

The calendar highlights a wide range of activities taking place in every part of the state on this significant day of pride for all Queenslanders with a postcode search function allowing users to pinpoint events of interest near them.
