Operation on Tin Can Bay Road
Officers at Tin Can Bay supported by the Tactical Crime Squad and Road Policing Unit today targeted impaired driving, wanted persons and illicit drug activity.
The operation involved roadside drug and alcohol testing of drivers at designated sites and coordinated searches of target addresses.
Two drug drivers were detected along with unlicensed drivers and unregistered vehicles. Sixty cannabis plants were seized from an address in Cooloolah Cove.
