New Market in Town!
The Rainbow Beach Craft Markets held their first market day on Sunday April 13. In spite of the weather, nine crafters displayed their goods. There was a great variety , including Denise’s beautiful jewellery, Kathy’s knitted goods, Grant’s famous driftwood fish and Lyn’s exotic shawls and shrugs. Betty brought wonderful preserves, Jeannie her unique dog collars and there was a wonderful display of artwork. Last but not least Colleen’s kids face painting was also available.
While the weather kept attendance down all stallholders made sales on the day and the tourists who attended said they would return on their next visit.
The Rainbow Beach Craft Markets are held every Sunday at Shop 1 The Top Shops (where the Fish shop and Laundromat are), from 9am to 1pm. Come along and support your local crafters – remember Mother’s Day is almost here!
