Gympie cat adoption

RSPCA Qld will officially open its new cat adoption facility at the Gympie Animal Care Centre this Friday April 29th at 11am.  A 50% discount will also be offered on any adult cat adopted on the day.

The new facility was made possible through the generosity of the Jelley Family Foundation and Carol Jelley will also attend the opening.

“This is a vast improvement on what was there previously,” said RSPCA Qld CEO Mark Townend. “We basically didn’t have a designated cat area and we were doing the best we could with what was available. This new facility is much more interactive and we’re incredibly grateful to the Jelley Foundation for making what was basically a dream a reality. This is a real step forward for the Gympie area.”
