Art festival for Aussie Day weekend

Rainbow Beach’s “Brushes by the Sea” Annual Art Festival will again be held at the Sports Club on the Australia Day weekend, January 23 to 24, 2016.

Artists from all over the Cooloola Coast have entered in sections: Acrylic, Oils, Watercolour, Photography, Quilting, Craft, Drawing and Young Artist.

Vote for the people’s choice, win a prize at the goose raffles or  just sample the wine and cheese! This year, there will even be live music from The Vibe on both evenings.

The exhibition kindly supports a charity each year, with raffles, and a percentage of the artwork’s commission, donated to the Rainbow Beach P & C. So buy some local art and it helps our school students!

Locals, remember your entry form must be received by the Club NO LATER than 4pm, Friday January 9, 2016. Entry forms and conditions are available at: http://www.rainbowsportsclub.com.au

All artwork must be delivered to the Club on January 18 or 19 between 10am – 12pm and 3pm – 5pm. All work must be ready to hang or to display. Mount photos on card, no frames please (maximum size of A4).
